“ Dec 2024 update: Stopped by for lunch with our 12noon reservation on a Sunday a few days before Christmas day. Overall, we were again impressed with the quality of the food and service at this out of the way restaurant. Chavignol (goat cheese) pane sur lit de salade was delicious – the toasted goat cheese was very tasty served on a very fresh bed of salad. The Bavette sauce Roquefort was served hot with a delicious black pepper sauce. Although we ordered the meat medium rare, it was over-cooked to medium, but still very good. For desert, we had the millefeuille au chocolat which was very rich and tasty but contained more sugar than I should have consumed. Overall, we were quite pleased with the quality of the food and service at this pricey out of the way local restaurant in Pomponnes. January 2024: This is a very clean restaurant recently reopened with exceptional food and very friendly service. Considering the exceptional quality of the food prepared and excellent service, it is worth paying the higher prices for items on the menu. We stopped by on the first Friday evening in January and we were pleased to almost have the whole restaurant to ourselves. Batter Fried prawns served with tasty sauces on the side were crispy and quite tasty. Wife said the dozen escargot served in their shell were also delicious, cooked in a butter sauce with a hint of garlic. For the main course, tried the grilled veal kidney with smoked bacon and green beans which was quite good. Also tried a very tender beef tenderloin with a tasty pepper sauce which was perfectly cooked medium rare. Also tried the skate wing with capers which was also quite good. For dessert, had the chocolate tart (pie) with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side which was quite tasty without too much sugar. If you are in the area and want to have an exceptional French restaurant experience, make a reservation at C La Suite in Pomponne. You will not regret your decision. ”

“ Excellent! We came on a Friday evening and enjoyed attentive and personalized service, fresh and expertly prepared dishes, and an excellent wine. From scallops to a Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, we had a wonderful time with suitable background music and a tranquil, intimate atmosphere. Special mention to the waiter, who was both professional and friendly. I highly recommend it. Thank you, we'll be back soon :) ”

“ We stayed at C La Suite hotel after having had a few dinners there in the past. The room was very comfortable and dark: the windows had electric shutters. It was quiet also: After a a tiring day in Paris, we were able to rest with no trouble. The bed was comfy and the towels plump. I liked that there was a toilet separated from the main bathroom. Check in was very swift we were greeted by the owner Nathalie and shown to our room promptly. Breakfast was served to suit us as we had to leave and check out early. Continental breakfast served with tea, coffee or hot chocolate, with fresh bread, pastries, butter & jam. We were also offered, orange juise, cheese fried or scrambled eggs. I would recommend this hotel for his charm and convenience. I would defo return - thank you for making our stay very comfortable. ”

“ We came for lunch during the week and had a wonderful meal. The ingredients were fresh and the desserts were homemade (the floating island wasn't mass-produced like everywhere else: it makes all the difference! ). A starter, main course, and dessert for €37 is very reasonable. My husband treated himself to sweetbreads, a dish rarely offered in other restaurants! Delicious! (Be sure to check beforehand that they're available.) And what a welcome! Smiles, helpfulness, attentiveness—that's what good food is all about! The pleasure of eating well and being warmly received makes for a great experience! You can go there with complete confidence! ”
